Tim Holtz and the 12 tags of Christmas

Last year, I came across Tim Holtz’s blog at Christmastime, and was bitten by the bug….the bug to go out and buy all things “Tim Holtz”. I love what this guy does. Unfortunately, I’m going broke!

Tim is once again doing the twelve tags of Christmas. Each day, Tim creates a Christmas themed tag, and shares step by step directions so that you can create one too.

I thought I’d share the first six tags I’ve created. I don’t have all of the supplies that he’s using…so I’m improvising.

I like the last one best….isn’t that cute? I love how Tim came up with the idea to tie the tree down onto the roof of the car. It makes me smile when I look at it.

He’s having a contest on his blog…if you submit your 12 tags of Christmas to him by 12/31…you’ll be in a drawing for a sweet prize package. I probably won’t make it…lol. I don’t like being under pressure…too much stress…and that’s not what it’s all about, right? Besides, I imagine hundreds, if not thousands of people will try and win the grand prize. My chance would be slim to none. We’ll see though, because I submitted to the Papercrafts Gallery Idol contest…and even though I wasn’t chosen (not like I thought I had a shot), I continued to play along anyway.

Until next time…..Peace
