Introducing Caelyn Frances

My brother’s newest grandaughter was born this past Wednesday. I believe she weighed somewhere between 6 and 7 pounds…I’m not sure. I called my brother’s house a few days later, and talked to my sil. She didn’t sound sure when I asked how much the baby weighed…she believes Caelyn weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces. I asked her to send pictures; I’m still waiting. My sister received this one from my brother…when he responded to a joke she had sent him by e-mail. I feel like I’ve been snubbed…by my own brother. Men! Grrr…

Tomorrow, I’m going to put a little package in the mail to his daughter, including a congratulations card for her and her husband on the birth, and also a wee gift and card for their three year old daughter..congratulating on her on her new “big sister” status.

I bought the little pocketbook at WalMart for a couple of dollars, and altered it. I think it turned out really cute. The fringe along the bottom of the skirt, the pink felt belt, the flowers on the pocket and the skull on the pocket were all added on. Watch…she’ll throw it in the washer..and it’ll all fall apart…lol
