Crafty Stuff

Some of my scrapbook pages…a card or two…and a few altered items.

I spend so much of my time on the internet looking for inspiration for my crafting hobby. There’s so much talent out there, it’s amazing. Only problem I have now, is to get motivated enough to actually create. By the time I get home from work…and do all the things that I need to get done, I’m exhausted. I have so many ideas in my head it’s not funny.

Many of the sites I visit have galleries full of beautiful projects. And I have to admit, I enjoy peeking into other bloggers spaces and getting a glimpse of what’s going on in their lives. I just don’t know where they get all the energy to do what it is they do!

I tried submitting to a site once…there was a call for scrapbook pages. I submitted my page called “Sometimes I Wish” It’s the page with the pretty picture of the window in it. I couldn’t believe that I got an e-mail back from the site telling me that my page was selected for publication! I wasn’t able to go through with it though, because the picture I used on my page wasn’t taken by me. Actually, I didn’t know who took the picture…it came from a calendar. It didn’t matter…I was thrilled that my page was selected. I don’t think I’ll ever submit again. When you do, they want to know what products you’ve used. I don’t pay attention to those things. In fact, it would be an impossible task…once I open a product I’ve bought…and use it…I throw away the packaging. I recognize company names,,,I just don’t recognize whose products are whose.

Here are a few links to a couple more albums I have:
