Dream Big
I wonder what it would take to have Peace on earth? Anyone out there have any ideas? Imagine? Can you imagine what our lives would be like if there were no wars? How wonderful it would be if nations got along with one another? No violence? Instead of killing each other, we could all work together to stop killing mother earth?
I wonder what it would be like to live in a country where the rich don’t get richer and the poor doesn’t get poorer? If politicians were elected to positions, and they actually cared about their whole contingency and not just the special interests? Imagine? Living in a country where instead of people sitting home and spitting out babies that get neglected and unloved, just to collect a stipend that gets doled out by the government….be offered jobs… no matter how menial, that would pay a decent wage? A wage that would support them, and give them some pride?
I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where people did not starve to death, nor die of diseases that could be prevented.
I wonder what it would be like, if everyone was kind, compassionate and generous? Merry Christmas all!

Daddy Diaper Duty Tool Belt
I went to a baby shower today…I haven’t been to one of them in a long time. Actually, I tagged along with my daughter…she was invited…not me. Her friend is due Dec.25…quite a present, eh? Anyway, when I found out that Claudia was pregnant, I wanted to make something for her. I ended up coming across a daddy diaper duty tool belt on Two Peas in a Bucket. I thought it was the cutest darn thing. Here’s what I came up with..and it was a hit:

Something to think about
I received an e-mail the other day from a friend at work…you know the kinds of e-mails…the mushy kind…the kind only girls and women send. There were tons of cute pictures of sweet babies. Precious. I thought though that I would put the words on this blog…for something to look back on:
If I want my dreams to come true, I mustn’t oversleep.
Of all the things I wear, my expression is the most important.
The best vitamin for making friends: B-1
The quality of my life depends on the quality of my thoughts.
The heaviest thing I can carry is a grudge.
I should keep my words soft and sweet in case I have to eat them.
One thing I can give and still keep? My word.
One thing I can’t recycle is wasted time.
I lie the loudest when I lie to myself.
Ideas won’t work unless I do.
My mind is like a parachute…it functions only when open.
The 10 Commandments are not multiple choice.
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
That last quote wasn’t in the e-mail…I just wanted to add it so that I won’t forget it. I like quotes.
