Therapy

November 25, 2007

I don’t know about any other papercrafters out there, but doing my thing with paper, scissors and glue is therapeutic for me. For instance, our family recently experienced heartbreak when my niece’s boyfriend was killed in a motorcycle accident. One of the things I did was to create cards and altered photo frames (from the dollar store), and gave them to the people who are hurting the most. Here’s a slideshow of my creations. Inside the cards I pasted pictures of the receiver and Floyd (my niece’s boyfriend).

I can only hope the receivers find some comfort, just as I did when creating them.
